About Bear Boating

Bear Boating of White Bear Lake is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) group offering boating or fishing excursions to seniors (60+), active duty military, veterans, and people with disabilities.

Since 2015 Bear Boating has been providing weekday two hour fishing or sightseeing excursions, on White Bear Lake, June through August. We are grateful for the strong individual and community donation support that allows us to offer all trips free of charge.

Bear Boating in the summer of 2023 was very excited to host our 10,000th passenger.  In 2024 we increased our trips to 4 per day, hosting 251 trips with 1,751 passengers!

A very special shout out to our 135 volunteers that have made our success possible.  We couldn't do it without you.

Our pontoon boat can accommodate up to ten guests and our three crew members.  We routinely accommodate wheelchairs.

We look forward to sharing the beauty of White Bear Lake with you!
