About Bear Boating
Since 2015, Bear Boating has served seniors (age 60+), active duty members, veterans, and disabled from June through August. In 2019, the volunteer captains and crew took more than 1,600 people on complimentary excursions for fishing and sightseeing. The boat holds 12 passengers and went out over 160 times; it is wheelchair and walker accessible.
White Bear Lake is one of the largest lakes in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The city was incorporated in 1921 with a population over 2,000 and today has approximately 24,000 residents. Even with its size, the City of White Bear Lake has been able to maintain that small town charm. With a thriving downtown area and summer events like Manitou Days, Marketfest, and the Farmers Market, it is a great place to live and visit.
We look forward to sharing the beauty of White Bear Lake with you!
